Vegan Friendly | Brownies

Hey Friends Hey!

I gave up ADDED SUGAR! It's been a little over a week now. Idk how long this will last, but I'm trying to detox from the amount of added sugar I eat. To be completely honest, it hasn't been entirely bad but it is extremely hard passing up the sweet treats and desserts I see daily; including the ones in my own home. There is literally sugar in EVERYTHING!

Anywho... I was so desperate to find a healthy alternative to sugar. I decided against honey and maple sugar and instead try to include DATES! They are super sweet but pack a ton of healthy benefits and antioxidants.

The best part is that this brownie recipe is vegan, gluten free and can also be nut free if you replace the almond butter with sunflower seed butter! That's what I call a WIN, WIN, WIN!!

So, try it out and let me know what you think!

Luv, Dani Lee

** A blender or food processor / mini muffin tin is needed. Bakes 1 1/2 dozen brownies**

What you'll need-

3/4 c dates

1/4 c water

1/2 c almond butter (any nut/seed butter)

1/2 small avocado

1/4 c unsweetened applesauce

1/4 c golden flax seeds

5 tbsp cacao powder

1/2 tsp baking soda

1 tbsp apple cider vinegar

1/2 tsp salt

Optional Toppings- cacao and chopped walnuts

Directions-

1. Blend dates and water in blender until smooth.

2. Add remaining ingredients to blender and blend until well mixed.

3. Spoon mixture into a greased mini muffin tin. Add optional toppings.

4. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 mins or until set. The texture will form up once cooled.

5. Allow to cool completely.

This post is a nice reminder that healthier dessert options can still be delicious, especially when they remove extra dairy and sugar without losing flavor. Small swaps like these can help people enjoy treats while supporting better nutrition and reducing discomfort for those with food sensitivities. For students and researchers exploring food science or nutrition, sharing their findings clearly is also important, and some look for support like an Affordable Web of Science Manuscript Publishing Service when preparing academic work. Balancing good information and healthier choices can make learning and eating more enjoyable.

I loved your vegan-friendly brownies post seeing how you swapped honey and maple for dates and crafted a dessert that’s vegan, gluten-free, and even nut-free if needed was truly inspiring. If you’re juggling multiple projects and find one of them demanding heavier focus, you might consider using a service like IoT assignment service so your academic workload doesn’t stall while you keep being creative and intentional.
