Hey Friends Hey!
Let me honest! I'm so happy to have the blog back and have a way to reach you guys with my recipes, but most day I am tired. Honestly, your girl is tired and I just don't have time to write recipes. Luckily for you, I had this one along with the pictures, stashed away from when I was blogging years ago.
So, I was in the grocery store ( as I am always) and I saw the box for cheddar bay biscuits. Yes, it it easy but believe me this recipe is just as easy and you made them from scratch! Give yourself a pat on the back. I adapted this recipe from DamnDelicious and I'm sure she still has the most amazing copycat recipes!
Well, here you go! Check it out and let me know what you think!

Cheddar Bay Biscuits
Ingredients
2 c. AP flour
1 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp baking powder
2 tsp garlic powder
½ tsp kosher salt
¼ tsp cayenne pepper
1 c. buttermilk (see below how to make your own buttermilk)
½ c. unsalted butter (melted)
1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
For the Topping
3 tbsp unsalted butter (melted)
1 tbsp dried parsley (I use a little more)
½ tsp garlic powder
Directions:
1.Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
2.In a large bowl combine all of the dry ingredients.
3.In a separate bowl whisk together milk and butter.
4.Add milk mixture to dry ingredients and mix. Add in cheese gently.
5.Next line a baking sheet with parchment or aluminum foil
6.I used my hands to make 7-8 balls with the dough and placed on the baking sheet. One at a time.
7.Place in oven and bake 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
8.While biscuits are baking, mix the topping ingredients together in a small bowl.
9.Once biscuits are done, remove from oven and brush with topping mixture.
10.Serve immediately and enjoy!
To make buttermilk:
Measure 1 scant cup of milk. Stir in 1 tablespoon of lemon juice or white vinegar.
Let stand 5-10 minutes. Let the mixture stand at room temperature for 5-10 minutes
